Casciente Films is a new independent Film Production enterprise based in London United Kingdom.

Founded in 2024 by Screenwriter, Film Director and Executive Film Producer - Dorcas Olorogun.

Our mission is to write and produce new screenplays that are creative, innovative and imaginative original films.

We aim to produce a diverse range of films for different film genres and bring our fresh concepts to the forefront. 

We're inspired to explore new and exciting ideas and technologies as well as experimental and avant-garde concepts that will entertain, inform and inspire people around the globe through the power of storytelling.

Casciente Films aims to create and develop its films internally, along with co-productions and have some of its films be co-developed by outside partners.

We also aim to partner with leading international film distribution companies and online streaming services to make our films available for wide commercial release in the future.

Our name and logo represents and embodies our creativity, passion, aspirations and originality. 

Casciente, which is a combination of the last three letters from the Founder’s first name 'cas' as well as the combination of the latin word 'scient' which means 'knowledgeable, awareness, skillful' and the word 'ascent' which means an instance of rising and an act of climbing and moving upwards.

Our name and its definition have both powerful and positive connotations, significance and depth of meaning.
